A 12-year old boy caught the “fish of a lifetime” recently in Lake Michigan, off Two Rivers. Seehafer News was told this morning that Andrew Zigmunt caught a 35-pound Chinook-or-King Salmon in 200-feet of water while on his step-brother’s boat last Saturday. Young Andrew had some help in landing the big fish from his step-brother Wade. Unfortunately, the catch came a week before this weekend’s Salmon Derby, headquartered at Manitowoc Marina.
