
A Manitowoc man is facing charges after he struck his girlfriend while in an argument. An attendant at the Shell gas station on Memorial Drive called the police department to report a fight between the two in the parking lot at around 4:00 PM yesterday afternoon. Officers found the vehicle described by the complainant parked in the 700 block of Pine Street and spoke with the couple. The woman told officers that the pair had gotten into an argument in the drive-through of the Dairy Queen, and her 55-year-old boyfriend punched her windshield causing it to break. The pair continued to fight in the parking lot, and the man allegedly struck her, causing several visible injuries. The man was taken in by police on charges of Domestic Battery and Criminal Damage to Property
