The Wisconsin Department of Public Instruction has released an estimate of the general school aids every public school district will receive for 2019-’20. Estimated amounts, which ‘are’ subject to change based on proposed state budget appropriations, include:
Manitowoc – $34,448,144 A 3.8% or $1.2 million rise over last October.
Two Rivers – $14,430,421 6.4% or $848,000 higher than last Fall.
Valders – $5,145,355 Or Nearly 2% or $102,000 less than 2018.
Meanwhile, Reedsville and Mishicot school districts are in line for increases of 13% and 5% respectively. On October 15th, DPI will certify amounts for 2019-2020 general school aids based on audited data and finalized state budget numbers.
