After Rolf Johnson resigned from the position about six months ago, Cathy Green has been serving as the acting Executive Director of the Wisconsin Maritime Museum. Effective today she can now remove the “acting” part from her business cards, as she was officially named the new Executive Director. Rear Admiral Jerry Clusen, the president of the Board of Trustees, spoke highly of Green, saying “Cathy is uniquely qualified to lead the Wisconsin Maritime Museum. She possesses the vision, leadership skills, and content knowledge needed to lead the museum through the opportunities and challenges ahead.” Green has more than 20 years of experience in the Great Lakes maritime history field.
