The Capitol Civic Centre Board held their annual meeting last Wednesday. Board President, Keith Shaw presided over the meeting for the last time, as he has now termed out of the position. Shaw had served on the Executive Committee, most recently as Board President and had previously been Vice President and Secretary of the Board. Shaw thanked Board members and acknowledged staff, while providing perspective on the fiscal year (which ended June 30) and the “Capitol team” concept. Board members Michelle Doneff, Vicki Grimstad, Kevin Schmidt, and John Stern also termed-off the board, having served two consecutive terms respectively. Tom Angst, the Act Two Co-Chair, was named President, while Peggy W. Pitz was named Vice President, Patty Huettl is now the Treasurer, and Christine D. Kornely was bestowed the role of Secretary.
