Heart-A-Rama has announced its’ fundraising total from this Spring’s shows at the Two Rivers Community House. The sketch comedy event designed to inform, inspire & entertain, raised over $87,000 in its’ 49th year. General Co-Chair Karen Schweitzer-Olson said nearly $79,000 of that figure will go to American Heart Association-Wisconsin to support life-saving programs & critical research. The remaining funds are earmarked for automated external defibrillators (AED’s) to nonprofit organizations in Manitowoc County. Heart-A-Rama has raised over $2.9-million dollars in its’ first 49-years and the goal for its’ 50th Anniversary shows in 2020 is to reach the $3 million dollar mark.
