KDC/ONE Northern Labs Announced as Winner of Move Manitowoc

Holy Family-Memorial has announced KDC/ONE Northern Labs as the winner of Move Manitowoc a month-long community step challenge in May to improve employee health and raise money for a good cause.  KDC/ONE Northern Labs will donate all competition proceeds, $2,750, to the Ronald McDonald House Charities of Eastern Wisconsin, Inc.  A total of 11 organizations from Manitowoc County competed to achieve the highest average daily number of steps & earn money for their charity of choice.  283 participants walked a combined 82,755,709 steps or approximately 41,377 miles, which equates to walking one and a half times around the Earth.  Brett Norell, HFM President & CEO, said, “We were thrilled to see the Manitowoc County community invest in employee health and engage in healthy workplace behaviors.  Small, daily improvements are the key to long-term health & happiness.  We hope this step-challenge created lasting improvements in our community’s health.”
