New Look: Packers To Increase RB’s Role In Passing Game

It became obvious during organized team activities and the mini-camp — the Packers’ running backs will have a bigger role in the passing game.  That is head coach Matt LaFleur’s history when he has handled offensive schemes.  Aaron Jones could benefit the most.  The shifty open-field runner has shown the ability to be a pass-catcher in first two seasons, catching 26 last year.  He could easily double that in the 2019 season under LaFleur’s offensive approach.
