A 17-year-old female from Manitowoc County died in a vehicle accident that occurred at 7:39 am Wednesday morning. Lt Mark Schroeder stated that the Manitowoc Police Department was dispatched to the area of Hwy 151 and W. Custer Street, for a two-vehicle accident, between a passenger car and a loaded cement truck.
As a result of the crash, the 17-year-old female was pronounced deceased at the scene. Preliminary investigations revealed the passenger car crossed over the center line, striking the cement truck.
Local first responders were assisted by the WI State Patrol, accident reconstruction unit.
