Nestled in the scenic rolling Ice Age Kettle Moraine countryside of Eastern Wisconsin, the Manitowoc County Historical Society is home to Pinecrest Historical Village, a 60-acre outdoor interpretive museum of local history featuring over 25 historic buildings with period furnishings from Manitowoc County’s early settlers. The museum’s McAllister House Welcome Center features a research library as well as exhibits on stories of the community’s past. This July, the Historical Society is offering free admission to kids under the age of 17 on Tuesdays from 10 am to 4 pm. There is a limit of 3 free children with one paid adult admission. Kids free Tuesdays will feature self-guided pioneer games to play for all ages.
