As host, Madison pro Steve Stricker would have been up early anyway. He is going to be one of the first players to tee off Friday for the first round of the American Family Insurance Championship. Stricker will be at the first tee at University Ridge Golf Course at 9:00 A-M and he’ll be joined by two former champions — Kirk Triplett and Scott McCarron. Another Madison golfer, Jerry Kelly, tees off 20 minutes later. McCarron won the tournament in Madison last year.
