Milwaukee police aren’t identifying the driver accused of running a red light and causing an accident which left an off-duty officer dead Tuesday morning. They say the suspect is 34 years old and has a history of four O-W-I convictions in Wisconsin. The most recent was two years ago and he was still on probation. Witnesses say he was speeding when he slammed into the second car, killing Officer Kou Her. Combined with the death of Racine Police Officer John Hetland, five Wisconsin law enforcement officers have been killed in just over a year.
