A former New York City doctor has pleaded guilty to 34 felonies, including two counts of second-degree manslaughter. Lawrence Choy was arrested in Sheboygan last year — where he had moved from Queens, New York after the investigation started. Prosecutors accused him of handing out prescriptions for dangerous narcotics like oxycodone. Patients were coming from long distances to get the prescriptions and three of them died. Choy is expected to get a seven-year sentence when he returns to court in September.
