The Milwaukee Bucks could save about eight-million dollars under the salary cap if they choose to retain stretch forward Nikola Mirotic and let Khris Middleton leave in free agency. The Bucks would need a replacement for Middleton’s three-point shooting to keep the lane open for Giannis Antetokounmpo. Milwaukee got Mirotic in a trade with New Orleans last February. He averaged 11-point-six points and five-point-four rebounds-a-game with the Bucks, hitting almost 36 percent of his three-point shots. Both players will be 28 when the next N-B-A season starts.
