A notice to motorists in the city of Manitowoc that Green Street, is closed from South 16th to South 18th Streets effective yesterday. City Engineer Greg Minikel tells us that the roadway is being closed for asphalt resurfacing, along with replacement of the storm sewer, and replacing defective sections of the concrete curb & gutter. It’s anticipated that the two block section of Green Street will be finished and the road reopened to through traffic around July 26th.
