The Oostburg High School robotics team is preparing for the experience of a lifetime. The squad defeated eight other teams at the Regional competition in April, and are now fine-tuning their skills for an international underwater competition this summer. They will be squaring off against 45 other teams from all over the world. They will not only have to build the best underwater robot but will also be judged on their business plan that is created along with it. The team is comprised of students from all grade levels, with half acting as the engineers who create the actual robot, while the remaining members focus on the business aspect. The team will ship off to Tennessee for the competition tomorrow.
