The Manitowoc County Sheriffs and Constables Association has announced the recipient of the Edward J. Shimanek Memorial Scholarship. Recent Reedsville High School graduate Carson Schanilec was awarded the $750 schooling grant, and was awarded it directly from Sheriff Dan Hartwig. Schanilec has announced that he plans to attend the University of Wisconsin Platteville in the fall. Congratulations Carson, and best of luck in your future endeavors.
