The Farm Service Agency has announced that nominations are being accepted for county committee elections. The committees provide an opportunity for farmers to have their opinions and ideas heard. In Manitowoc County, the elections are for the townships of Centerville, Eaton, Liberty, Meeme, Newton, and Schleswig. In Calumet County, the townships affected are Brillion, Harrison, and Woodville. And in Sheboygan county the townships of Greenbush, Mitchell, Rhine, Russell, and Scott.
Nominations must be received by August 1st. Interested parties should contact the FSA office in Manitowoc, Chilton or Plymouth.
