Home sales in Manitowoc County have held very steady against last year’s numbers, while sale prices have increased significantly. The Wisconsin Realtors Association today released statewide statistics on real estate transactions so far this year. Statewide sales increased in May after two months of decline, and prices rose accordingly. May sales rose 3.2 percent against last year, with the median price rising by 9.1 percent.
In Manitowoc County, the number of sales through the 20th of May was 414 this year, just one more than last year for the same period. The median price rose by 8.3 percent.
