25-Year-Old Madison Woman Accused Of Battering A Nurse

Madison police say they are holding a 25-year-old woman who is accused of battering a nurse at St. Mary’s Hospital.  The incident happened shortly before 2:00 A-M Saturday.  The woman’s name hasn’t been released.  Police say she ran from the hospital after the attack and was found by officers nearby.  She fought with the officers but was taken into custody.  She will face charges of battery to an emergency medical care provider, resisting arrest and disorderly conduct.
