Work is continuing on the Waldo Boulevard reconstruction project on Manitowoc’s northside. Next week’s schedule will include continuing work on storm sewer, water main, and sanitary sewer from 8th street working west. Concrete paving will be poured along the eastern half of the roundabout at the intersection of Waldo with Memorial Drive.
Waldo is closed to traffic in portions of the work zone during construction, and US highway 10 and state highway 42 are detoured around the project. Northbound and southbound traffic is still maintained along Maritime Drive and Memorial Drive. The full project includes redoing the road west to 14th street, and the contract date for completion is November 1st.
