Second baseman Mike Moustakas hit a two-run homer in the 14th inning to lead the Brewers to a 6-3 victory in Houston. Milwaukee starter Brandon Woodruff matched the Astros’ Justin Verlander for seven innings. Moustakas, Ryan Braun, Eric Thames and Yasmani Grandal had home runs. Adrian Houser picked up the win as six Milwaukee pitchers held Houston — one of baseball’s strongest lineups — to five hits in 14 innings. The Brewers won for the fifth time in six games despite striking out 24 times — 15 of them against Verlander. The Brewers are off today (Thursday), then send undefeated Zach Davies against the Giants in San Francisco Friday.
