Child Neglect Charges Filed Against 19-Year-Old Sheboygan Man

Sheboygan County authorities have filed child neglect charges against a 19-year-old man in the death of a baby girl.  Police were called to a home May 31st about a five-month-old infant who wasn’t breathing.  Andrew Walker was caring for the girl the morning she died.  He told investigators nothing out of the ordinary happened until he noticed the child was purple around her nose, lips, mouth, and eyes.  Walker made an initial court appearance Wednesday to face a charge of neglecting a child, death as the consequence.
