The NEW Zoo & Adventure Park will be celebrating Father’s Day this Sunday by allowing all dads to enter the zoo for free. A few of the animals at the zoo will also be celebrating their special day as well, including daddy swan Abner, who can be seen with his four cygnets who were hatched on June 5th. Daddy lynx Carson will likely be standing watch on exhibit while his mate Lucy cares for their three tiny one-month old kittens inside her den. Also, several Three-month-old baby otters are just beginning to come out and play on exhibit and are, periodically, on exhibit with their father Skokie. This sight is rather rare however, as they still spend most of their days sleeping. In a bit of Otter trivia, male otters do not typically participate in parenting but Skokie has been an involved father for these and previous pups.
