Bail Set For Woman Charged With Attacking Boyfriend With Knife

A Manitowoc woman has had bail set on charges of attacking her live-in boyfriend with a knife. Hailey Gamez, age 27 was taken into custody Monday afternoon as a result of a loud disturbance at the apartment in the 1200 block of Flambeau Street. Bail was set at $2,500 recognizance bond for Gamez, and she is to have no contact with the victim or the apartment. The man in the case said the two had gotten into an argument and she began throwing things at him before grabbing a knife and swinging it at him. He had a minor knife wound.  Gamez is to have an initial appearance on July 1^st at 1:30.
