The City of Manitowoc will be kicking off this week with a Public Safety Committee meeting tonight at 6:00 PM. The committee will gather in the Council Chambers in City Hall, and will discuss the Sex Offender Residency Board Appeal for one Michael Szente. Other discussion items of the agenda include a request for parking to be disallowed on the north side of Green Street from South 9th street to the end of the roadway during school hours, and a request to rescind aged outstanding parking ticket fees. They will also be looking over an ordinance to amend the section of the Manitowoc Municipal Code that regulates the penalty for prohibited U-Turns and left had turns. The public will be allotted time at the top of the meeting to voice their comments as well.
