The Manitowoc County Historical Society, 924 Pinecrest Road in Manitowoc, has announced dates for upcoming museum tram tours. This guided tour of the Manitowoc County Historical Society’s Pinecrest Village spans more than 150 years of history and 60 acres. Approximately 90 minutes in duration, the tour will stop to each building in the Village using the motorized tram. The tram tours are especially designed for those needing assistance journeying through the museum’s expansive area and uneven landscape. Motorized Tram Tours take place at 1 pm on the following dates: Wednesday, June 19; Wednesday, July 17; Sunday, July 21; Sunday, August 18; and Wednesday, August 21. The Manitowoc County Historical Society is asking that reservations be made at least 2 days in advance. Call (920) 684-4445 to reserve your seat on the tram tour. The tram holds a maximum of 5 people. The cost is $10 for adults, $7 for children (age 4 to 17), and under age 4 is free.
