A three-year-old Cleveland boy was one of two people injured in a two-car accident in New Holstein yesterday. The New Holstein Police Department has determined that a 33-year-old Cleveland woman was traveling into the city on State Highway 57 at around 8:30 yesterday morning, when she entered the ditch on the opposite side of the road. Her car took flight after striking a cement culvert and crashed into a vehicle stopped at the stop sign at the intersection of Jordan Avenue, and Milwaukee Drive. The 57-year-old female driver of the stopped vehicle was trapped in her car, and the New Holstein resident had to be extracted with the Jaws of Life. She was taken to a local hospital, while the three-year-old in the first vehicle was flown to Fox Valley Hospital. The names and conditions of the injured have not been released.
