Manitowoc Lincoln High School graduate and Iowa State University athlete Eric Fogltanz missed out last night on qualifying for the Finals in two events at the NCAA Track & Field Championships in Austin, Texas. However, Eric still received Honorable Mention All-American status in the 400-Hurdles after a 21st place finish in a time of 52.09 seconds. His 4×400 meter Relay team placed 13th in 3:06.95 and earned Second-Team All-American honors. The son of Don & Mary Fogltanz still has one more year of outdoor Track & Field eligibility remaining for the Cyclones.
