Two Suspects Arrested, Hospitalized After Waukesha County Standoff

A man and woman are under arrest in the hospital after a shooting and standoff overnight that closed Interstate 94 in Waukesha County.  It started Tuesday afternoon when a D-N-R warden tried to arrest a suspect who fled the scene.  Deputies fired at the suspects when the man pointed a gun out the window of the disabled vehicle.  The man barricaded himself inside and claimed he was holding the woman hostage.  Officers forced them out and the male suspect was shot multiple times while pointing a gun at the female.  The woman resisted arrest and reportedly stabbed a police dog.  The man is currently in critical condition.
