Transportation Security Administration workers detected a loaded gun at a security screening checkpoint at Dane County Regional Airport Monday. The passenger was interviewed and the gun was seized. The decision of whether to file a criminal charge will be up to the district attorney’s office. The T-S-A has the authority to assess a civil penalty of more than 13-thousand dollars. Federal agents say this is the second time a firearm has been detected at the Madison airport.
