
The Miami Marlins scored a franchise-record 11 runs in the fifth inning on the way to a 16-0 shutout of Milwaukee Tuesday night. Six Brewer pitchers gave up 19 hits and starter Chase Anderson took the loss. Miami’s Pablo Lopez pitched shutout ball for six innings while claiming his fourth win. Travis Shaw’s double was Milwaukee’s only extra-base hit. Jimmy Nelson is scheduled to start tonight’s home game against the Marlins, his first major league start in 21 months. It’s also Nelson’s 30th birthday.
