Motions to sequester the jury in the trial for the man accused of killing Milwaukee police officer Matthew Rittner will be discussed at a hearing next week. The defense made the initial suggestion during Tuesday’s pretrial hearing. Prosecutors say 26-year-old Jordan Fricke shot Rittner to death February 6th as a tactical team tried to execute a warrant at his home. Fricke’s attorney pointed to all the attention given the case as the reason for keeping jury members sequestered. The trial is scheduled to start in Milwaukee County District Court July 8th.
