Sheboygan North was defeated by Fond du Lac 7-3 yesterday afternoon in the WIAA Division-1 Sectional Boys Baseball championship game. The Golden Raiders, seeded 10th, reached the title game at Schneider Field in Oshkosh with a 4-3 decision over West Bend East earlier in the day. Fondy had eliminated West Bend West in its’ semifinal, by the same score. So, the Cardinals who began the postseason with an 8 seed, wind up advancing to the WIAA State Tournament beginning next Tuesday at Neuroscience Group Field at Fox Cities Stadium in Grand Chute.
