Former Syracuse guard Lawrence Moten says he wants to be courtside when his Big East career scoring record is broken. Moten wrapped up a storied career with 14-hundred-five points in 1995. Barring injury, it looks like Marquette guard Markus Howard has a good chance to top that. Howard stands at one-thousand-70 points in Big East games. He would only have to average a little over 18-and-a-half points-a-game to top Moten — and that about six points-a-game less than he put up last season.
