Standoff Involving Man With Knife, Kids Ends Peacefully in Fond du Lac

A man armed with a knife who barricaded himself in a Fond du Lac home with three children is now in custody.  Police say the standoff ended peacefully this morning when the SWAT team entered and arrested the suspect.  No injuries were reported to the children or the 28-year-old man.  Officers went to the home around 4:15 A-M because the man was reportedly “acting unusual.”  The five-hour incident blocked off one of the city’s busiest streets.
