The Hilton Garden Inn in Green Bay caught fire early yesterday morning. Crews were sent to the hotel at around 1:00 AM, and upon arrival found smoke emanating form the building on the first floor and saw that the occupants of the structure were in the process of evacuating. It was discovered that the blaze had originated from a commercial laundry dryer, and determined that the built in automatic sprinkler system had kept the blaze in check. Why the dryer caught fire is not yet known, but we do know that Officials estimate the damage to be around $25,000 worth. There were no injuries reported.
