The Pink Heals are preparing to put on their 18th Annual Golf Classic on June 12th at Wander Springs Golf Course in Greenleaf. Lynn Gerdman and Ann Wilson told us a little about the organization, and what they do for the people of Manitowoc County. They explained that they raise money through donations to assist families that have a member, whether it be the father mother, or a child, who is suffering from cancer in Manitowoc County. They also pointed out that 100% of the donations they receive go directly back out into the community.
The golf outing will help them raise money to continue serving families struggling with cancer. Registration for the event will begin at 11:00 AM with tee off scheduled for noon. The cost to play is $55, and $25 for that goes directly to the Pink Heals. Lunch is included with the price as well. There are a couple of big prizes that will be given away, including the chance to play on the prestigious French Lick Golf Course in Indiana sponsored by Krajnik Chevrolet in Two Rivers. They are currently full when it comes to teams, but you can still register individually, to potentially be placed with some of the teams of three.
