The Manitowoc/Two Rivers YMCA has announced the recipients of the 2019 Beernsten Scholarship Award. Four of the nine award winners came from Reedsville High School, and they are Mara Connell, Madeline Nimocks, Grace VanDyke, and Whitney Wasmuth. Also receiving the scholarship are, from Two Rivers High, Emma Burbey, and Madelyn Polich. A pair of Manitowoc students are also on the list, including Lynsey Marohn from Manitowoc Lutheran, and Sophie Steimle, of Lincoln High. And finally, from Mishicot High School, Jadelyn Novy will also be receiving $1,000 to go toward pursuing a higher education degree in education or the social services. Congratulations to all of the deserving recipients.
