Did you know any bicycle with wheels 20 inches and larger have to be registered with the Police Department and have a license sticker attached? This is the best way to ensure that any bike that is stolen can be identified and returned to the owner.
This Saturday, the Sheboygan Police Department will be selling bicycle licenses at the Sheboygan Police Department, 1315 N 23rd St. Licensing will take place from 9:00 am until noon. The licensing station will be set up in the Sally Port so we can provide drive-through service. Bring your bike. Volunteers and Police Explorers will do all the work! Licenses are only $6.00, and a license is good for the life of the bike.
Did you buy a used bike that was licensed to someone else? Have you licensed a bike but the sticker has been removed? Transfers and replacements are available for only $2.00.
