Packers defensive coordinator Mike Pettine has said more than once that he wants his defense to be “fast and physical.” Between a solid haul from the 2019 N-F-L Draft and four impressive free agent signings, it’s possible he’ll get his wish. Counting rookie safety Darnell Savage Junior, the Packers have the potential to put five new defensive starters on the field this fall. Green Bay hasn’t finished in the top-10 for total defense since the 2010 season.
