The Season Opener at W-I-R

In area racing, Reedsville’s Maxwell Schultz ‘ducked’ underneath Jesse Outdenhoven on a late race restart to snag the opening night super late-model feature win at Wisconsin International Raceway.  The victory last night came at the “X” Bar opener at W-I-R in Kaukauna.  Schultz went the distance and kept all challengers at bay, with defending track champion Casey Johnson of Edgerton finishing 2^nd.   Next week at the half-mile track, the ARCA Midwest Tour super-late models’ roll in…on Memorial Day, for the Triple-50’s.
