The Roncalli Jets Golf Team defeats host Sheboygan Area Lutheran in a one-hole playoff yesterday to capture a WIAA Division Three Regional Championship at Quit-Qui-Oc in Elkhart Lake. The Jets and Crusaders each shot 335 to qualify for Sectionals. Joining them will be Howards Grove and Kohler which finished third and fourth respectively. Reedsville finished eighth. Meet Medalist was junior Drake Wilcox of Sheboygan Area Lutheran, who shot a one-under-par 70.
In a Division Two Regional at Northbrook Golf Club in Luxemburg, Two Rivers finished fifth out of ten teams with a 396. Brillion was sixth- Valders tied Sturgeon Bay for seventh and Denmark was ninth. Two Rivers Sophomore Dakota Rezachek qualifies for next Tuesday’s Sectional meet along with seniors Derek Suess and Andrew Fischer along with Denmark junior Riley DeCock. Meet medalist was Chilton Junior Cameron Owens who shot an 80. The Tigers finished third and qualified their team for sectionals next Tuesday.
Meanwhile-Manitowoc Lincoln is competing in a Division One Regional today hosted by Oshkosh North.
