No one was hurt as the result of an early morning crash in Manitowoc County. The Sheriff’s Department says that just before 6 a.m. a tractor/trailer semi operated by a 30-year-old Chicago man was traveling northbound on I-43 at U.S. Highway 10/westbound State Highway 310. He started braking for a deer when he went into the east ditch- overcorrected crossing both northbound lanes-into the grass median-crossing both southbound lanes before finally coming to a rest between the southbound lanes and off-ramp to Highway 10. His trailer blocked both lanes requiring traffic to exit at Highway 10. The trailer was empty and no one was injured. Southbound lanes of the Interstate were reopened at 7:30 a.m.
