
With Christian Yelich sidelined with back spasms, four Cincinnati pitchers held the Brewers scoreless on six hits Tuesday night. Milwaukee hitters struck out 14 times in the 3-0 loss. The game was decided in the top of the first inning when the Reds touched starter Gio Gonzalez for three runs. The loss knocked the Brewers two games behind Central Division-leading Chicago.
