An Open House of the Manitowoc Department of Public Infrastructure Operations and Fleet Maintenance Facility, located at 2655 S 35th Street is scheduled for this Wednesday from 2pm to 7pm. This will coincide with National Public Works Week which begins today. Join the department staff for a self-guided facility tour, equipment viewing and informational literature about what this department does for the citizens of the community. Attendees will also have the chance to view their state of art salt brine machine, which has allowed the department to reduce salt usage while still providing a high level of service to the roadways during winter months.
