LTC Awards Students, Staff, and Community Leaders

Lakeshore Technical College held its annual awards reception earlier this month and recognized many people. Among those who were recognized was Manitowoc County Sheriff Dan Hartwig, who received the 2019 Alumnus of the Year Award. Hartwig graduated from LTC in 1998 from what is now known as the Criminal Justice Law Enforcement program. Ben Harrison, the Owner, and CEO of Kaysun Corporation of Manitowoc was also honored with the Educational Leadership Award. Many members of staff and students were honored as well, including 17 students who hail from Manitowoc. Those students cover a wide variety of programs, including the Health Information Management, Early Childhood Education, Horticulture, and Radiation Safety/ Health Physics programs.
