The annual Manitowoc County Hazardous Waste Clean Sweep will be taking place Saturday morning. Residents of the County that have certain hazardous waste items can dispose of them at the County Highway Shop, located at 3500 Highway 310, from 9:00 AM until Noon. Pesticides, paints, solvents, and items such as gasoline, antifreeze, and pool chemicals will all be accepted, however Latex paint, radioactive materials, explosives, and a slew of other items will not be accepted.
