Solid pitching carried the Milwaukee Brewers to a second straight road victory Wednesday night. Lefty Gio Gonzalez stopped Philadelphia on one run in five-and-one-third innings on the mound of a 5-2 win. Milwaukee batters were held to seven singles, but they bunched them with seven walks to move within a game-and-a-half of first place in the Central Division standings. Catcher Manny Pina left the game with a sore hamstring and will be placed on the injured list. The Brewers try to take three-out-of-four when they send Zach Davies to the mound this afternoon.
