Green Bay Child Assaulted After Harmless Prank

A Green Bay child was performing the old “Ding Dong Ditch” prank last Friday on some people in a neighborhood, when he was assaulted. One of the residents in the 2900 block of Ferndale Drive did not appreciate the prank, and chased the group of six boys, and struck and assaulted one of them. The child did not report it until the next day, but described the incident the best he could to police.  It was determined that the unknown subject was NOT attempting to abduct the child, and human trafficking concerns are off the table. Police are still searching for the suspect, but the juveniles were also charged for their crimes.
